The Immune Deficiency Clinic (IDC) at Kaiser Permanente Northwest provides both primary and specialty care to people living with HIV infection. Patients with HIV infection can receive all their primary care (including vaccinations) at the IDC, and/or be seen by specialists in the field of HIV care/antiretroviral therapy. Many of our providers are Infectious Disease specialists, and most are certified by the American Academy of HIV Medicine. We also provide screening and treatment for anal dysplasia and sexually transmitted infections for persons with HIV infection. In addition, we provide consultation for both Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) in persons who do not have HIV infection, but who are at risk.
