The Neurology Department at Kaiser Permanente Northwest works in partnership with you and your Primary Care Provider to provide consultation for neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), stroke, epilepsies, and problems for which an origin within the central or peripheral nervous system is of concern. You and the physicians are supported by a team of nurse case managers, advice nurses, and medical assistants who work together to provide the highest quality of care. Our department provides consultation and procedures that include EMG and nerve conduction studies, Botox® injection for movement disorders and migraine, deep brain stimulation (DBS) and vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) programming and follow up, and diagnostic lumbar puncture. Our department members have subspecialty interest and expertise in neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, stroke and complex headache disorders.
