Neurosurgery and Spine

The Neurosurgery and Spine Department at Kaiser Permanente Northwest encompasses a multi-disciplinary group to provide treatment for surgical conditions affecting the brain, spine, and peripheral nervous system.

Our doctors specialize in the treatment of brain and spine tumors, trauma, stroke, and other cerebrovascular diseases including cerebral aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations, pain disorders, and degenerative diseases of the spine such as disc herniation and spinal stenosis. The Kaiser Permanente Northwest (KPNW) Spine Program has been developed to provide comprehensive care for our patients with spinal disorders.

Our board-certified surgeons also offer sub-specialty care in the areas of stroke intervention, aneurysm treatment, epilepsy, surgery for neurological orders related to the ear, minimally-invasive spine surgery, and scoliosis correction. We use the latest technologies and monitoring to ensure the safest, most effective outcomes for our patients.
