Pain Management

Kaiser Permanente Northwest Pain Management Services serves as a critical consultation service and provides state-of-the-art, evidence-based, interdisciplinary programs intended to reduce suffering and improve functional restoration in patients with chronic non-malignant pain. We offer coordinated care involving interventional approaches, pharmacological management, physical therapy, biofeedback, coping skills training, and pain education to help patients learn to better manage their chronic pain.

Our approach supports self-management of pain and is consistent with the overarching preventative care philosophy of Kaiser Permanente (THRIVE). This unique philosophy is what separates us from conventional, passive, monotherapy approaches for pain.
