I am a native of the Pacific Northwest and attended medical school at Oregon Health and Science University. After medical school, I moved to Manhattan to complete my residency in Radiology and fellowship in Neuroradiology at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Weil Cornell Medical College and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. My family moved back to the Pacific Northwest in 2009.
About my practice
I am one of the board certified Neuroradiologists. Although I practice general Diagnostic Radiology, I have a special interest in advanced Neuroimaging techniques, including CT and MR angiography, MR perfusion/spectroscopy, and functional MRI. Because imaging has become such an important part of medical care and decision making, it is my aim to help every one of my patients receive the best experience possible when they arrive at our imaging centers. In practice this means making sure that each patient receives the test most appropriate for their condition, that each imaging test is performed safely and expeditiously, and that my interpretation provides as much information as possible to the patient and his/her Physician.
How I thrive
Exercise is a key component to my mental and physical wellbeing. In particular, I am an avid tennis player who is happiest on a sunny spring day outside on the courts. In addition to exercise, I am extremely interested in the world and being a participant of a global society. I pursue this interest through travel, contact with friends abroad, as well as a steady diet of international news (PRI, BBC, and the like).
