Originally from Chicago, I trained all over the country — in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Chicago; Salt Lake City; and now Portland. I have had the great opportunity to meet people from all walks of life and learn from a variety of incredible neurologists. I have found that conditions that involve the nervous system are difficult for patients to comprehend and to live with daily. It is my goal to spend as much time as necessary with each patient to allow them to explain their symptoms, to help diagnose their condition, and to allow for adequate time to explain my diagnosis and treatment plan.
About my practice
I intend to treat each patient as a person rather than a disease and as if they were a personal family member or friend. I make sure to take time to explain complex neurological conditions in the best way for my patients to understand, as I find this helps them recover more quickly and helps to build a strong personal connection.
How I thrive
I enjoy listening to music, reading, watching documentaries, hiking, backpacking, travelling, biking, gardening, and playing with my cat.
