I grew up in Northeast Ohio. I received my BA, MD, and MPH degrees from Boston University, and completed my internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Michigan. I am married with two children. I chose a career in primary care medicine because I like to get to know people over a long period of time.
About my practice
In my practice I encourage my patients to be proactive about their health, and to follow healthy lifestyle recommendations.
How I thrive
I think that as a physician one needs to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle so as to set a good example. My family enjoys hiking, skiing, cycling, and most outdoor sports. I exercise on a daily basis, and frequently commute by bicycle (18 mile round trip). I complete a yoga and meditation routine twice daily, and follow a lacto-vegetarian diet.
