I am originally from New York — Manhattan — but I have travelled extensively throughout the United States and abroad, exploring as well as searching for a place to settle. After spending time in Portland, I realized it was a perfect fit. I love the culture, friendliness, and access to the outdoors. Portland has something for everyone and is inclusive to all.
About my practice
I enjoy practicing emergency medicine. I am honored to be able to help people in their time of greatest need. I began my career in emergency medicine working as an EMT at age 18. I knew then that I would work toward becoming an emergency medicine physician. I also enjoy participating in international medicine, as well as working on disaster-recovery medical missions. I spent time in Nepal after the earthquakes, and in Texas after Hurricane Harvey. I am honored to work as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Army National Guard.
How I thrive
My philosophy is to be happy and get outdoors. I love spending time hiking and camping with my two dogs (both rescue mutts). I enjoy reading nonfiction, military history, and the occasional novel as well. I also love to eat! I do dabble in the kitchen, but nothing beats locally-sourced food carts.
