I am a born-and-raised New Yorker, and completed all of my education and medical training in the Northeast. After a few years in practice in the New York and New Jersey area, I decided to leave and have not looked back. After stops in Irvine, California, and Tampa, Florida, my wife and I have settled on Portland as our home and could not be happier. As a family of six, we are no longer interested in the nomadic lifestyle and are excited to plant roots.
About my practice
I practice anesthesiology with an emphasis on regional anesthesia and acute pain management. I enjoy my work tremendously and find it to be a unique opportunity to treat patients at a vulnerable time in their lives. I am excited about new developments in the world of perioperative pain management, as well as in the practice of operating room anesthesia.
How I thrive
I do whatever I can to exercise every day, preferably outdoors. My chosen activities center on running and biking with some weight-training thrown in for good measure. I also enjoy good food and drink with friends and family. I have done a lot of travel on a shoestring budget and have found those experiences tremendously rewarding. Our trips are a little less adventurous now, but I look forward to continuing when the kids are older.
