About Reviews

No comments available. ?

I grew up in Ithaca, New York and received my BA in Philosophy from Yale University prior to moving to the West Coast for medical school, residency, and fellowship. I attended the University of California, San Francisco for medical school, completed my residency in Neurology at Stanford, and then completed fellowships in Neurocritical Care and Interventional Neuroradiology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). After fellowship, I worked for several years at OHSU in Interventional Neuroradiology and served as Associate Director of the Neurosciences ICU. I am the author of more than 30 research publications and have been named one of Portland's "Top Docs" by Portland Monthly.

About my practice

As an interventional neuroradiologist, I treat patients with diseases of the blood vessels of the brain and spine using minimally invasive techniques guided by medical imaging. These techniques are relatively new and constantly progressing and I work hard to provide the latest advances in technology to Kaiser Permanente members. Some of the diseases that can be treated this way include brain aneurysms, brain arteriovenous malformations and fistulae (AVM's and AVF's), narrowing of arteries in the neck and brain, and acute stroke.

How I thrive

When I am not treating patients, I spend as much time as possible with my family. I am passionate about exercise and enjoy running, soccer, skiing, and surfing. I also love to travel, both in the amazing Pacific Northwest and abroad.
