I am very fortunate to be able to do what I love. I knew I would specialize in cardiac anesthesia after my first cardiac case as a first year anesthesia resident. After completing my residency training at St. Vincent Hospital in Manhattan, I moved to Winston-Salem, NC to continue my training at Wake Forest University. I stayed on faculty for two years after finishing my Cardiothoracic Anesthesia Fellowship. I have been at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center since 2009.
About my practice
What I like about my current practice is the ability to be part of integrated care team. Our positive outcomes are the direct result of team approach to patient care. We have a team of dedicated professionals who cooperate day in day out to deliver the best care possible to our patients and their families. We take pride in what we do.
How I thrive
I have the best colleagues in the world; I come to work knowing I am not alone. The spirit of cooperation and collegiality make me want to come back to work. Since joining Kaiser Permanente, I have met a lot of great people. Many of them I call friends. We do help each other and provide professional and emotional support to one another.
