I grew up here in Portland, Oregon and went to Wilson High School. After graduating, I moved to the Midwest, went to college, and started working in the software field. Over time, I came to realize that I enjoy working with and helping people most of all, which is what motivated me to make the switch to medicine. I am grateful to have a wonderful wife and family and enjoy living here in Portland.
About my practice
I enjoy the pace of the emergency department because it gives us the opportunity to help people immediately and to help to set them on a course to get better over time. I think that the best way to take care of patients is to treat them as I would treat my own family. Regardless of the problem, I have confidence that our staff and specialists can take care of our patients like family too, which is why I work at Kaiser Permanente.
How I thrive
I think that a balanced life is the best one, so I strive to spend time with my family, exercise, and enjoy time with friends. My wife and I have a lot of fun together, and my son is my pride and joy. We enjoy going around Oregon to visit the different beautiful parts of our state.
