I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and received medical training at the University of Washington. I have degrees in pharmacy as well as microbiology/immunology. I have practiced in several different venues: urgent care, pediatrics, and internal medicine. I like the interaction with patients and value the unique perspective each person brings to his or her own health and well-being.
About my practice
My approach to medicine is one of collaboration. I view my job as a provider of information, helping members make the best choices for themselves. As a pediatrician and internist, I enjoy working both with young patients and with senior members who face complex health challenges. I participate in sports and have been a fitness instructor and personal trainer for more than a decade. I use my experience and knowledge to help patients with diet and exercise.
How I thrive
Exercise is my therapy. It helps to keep the mind and body fresh and helps with stress.
