About Reviews

No comments available. ?

I am from Baltimore, Maryland and spent most of my life on the East coast. I completed my toxicology fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in 2007, and decided that I never wanted to leave the Pacific Northwest. I love the practice of Emergency Medicine for the variety of challenges, as well as the amazing breadth of human interactions it presents on a daily basis.

About my practice

Emergency Medicine requires a knowledge of all specialties of medicine, and the ability to think critically about the entire spectrum of a patient's health. I am a toxicologist as well, which allows me to specialize in a narrower field, and focus my interests on drug addiction and forensic medicine. I enjoy treating patients of all ages, and especially enjoy the Kaiser Permanente environment for the support and follow-up care that all members are provided. This is the most efficient and effective way to ensure that people receive the healthcare that they need.

How I thrive

I try to incorporate some form of exercise in my daily routine, since I find that this is extremely beneficial for both physical and mental wellbeing. My daughter and I hula hoop together - at five years old, she is far better than me. My favorite activities outside of the hospital include reading, watching movies, and crocheting. My family travels often and we love exploring the Southwest.
