I had the opportunity to leave Kaiser during open enrollment and go anywhere I chose. I stayed because of Dr. Marc Rothgery. (I'm sure I butchered the spelling). I have had other great doctors at Kaiser but he's the best. He genuinely cares about me and the issues I face. He always tells me he's here to help me get where I want/need to go etc. Love the dude. // The wait was long but I knew the Dr. took the time he needed with each patient, and that when it was my turn he'd do the same for me. He's great at his job, so it was worth the wait.

He may be a fine physician, but he didn't really take much of a history and didn't examine my skin rash. Perhaps he was afraid I was infectious? Despite my regular exercise efforts, he suggested I "try not to sweat."

I am an Oregon native and love the Pacific Northwest. I completed my medical education at Albany Medical College in New York and my family medicine residency training at the University of Utah.

About my practice

I work in the Family Medicine Department and see everyone from pediatrics to teens, adults, and the elderly.

How I thrive

In my spare time I enjoy cooking, gardening, and trying new restaurants. I'm an avid runner, and participate in several half-marathon races a year. My wife and I also enjoy camping and kayaking, spending as much time in the outdoors as we can.
