Dr. Valencia was fantastic. I felt very comfortable with him in the 1st minute of talking. (They both got my humor.) Dr. Valencia really listened to me, intently. I was happy with my last Dr. in Las Vegas, but Dr. Valencia has him beat!

He was a little pushy about flu and tetanus shots after I said I wasn't interested.

I don't feel the doctor listened to me as much as he should . Due to that his exam caused pain, which is why I was there.

I was very please with Dr. Valencia. I wrote him an email to ask a question about a lab result and he responded within a couple hours. He also made sure the lab results with his notes were mailed to me in a timely manner even though the results were available right away online.

I was born and raised in Manila, Philippines, where I received my medical degree. I then went to Minneapolis, Minnesota, for my family medicine residency. Initially, I worked in Washington and then moved to Oregon to be closer to family. Having grown up in a family of medical providers, I see this profession as a blessing and an opportunity to provide service and care to other people.

About my practice

I see a wide variety of patients, from those needing wellness exams to those having common pediatric/adult medical conditions. I also enjoy performing simple surgical procedures. I always encourage patients to be involved in the decision-making process to provide sound medical/surgical care for them.

How I thrive

I am a big proponent of fitness. I run a lot and regularly participate in marathon and triathlon events. I also enjoy various types of sports such as basketball, volleyball, and swimming. My family and I love to travel, watch movies, and try out different restaurants.
