As an Emergency Care physician, I am exposed to a variety of member populations and medical conditions. I also get the opportunity to work with various consults to coordinate member care.
About my practice
I grew up in the suburbs of New Orleans and remained in Louisiana throughout medical school. I completed my Emergency Medicine (EM) training in Detroit, where I met my husband, also an EM physician. In Michigan, I worked at a community hospital for a year before relocating to Houston, Texas, where I worked at another busy community hospital for a couple of years. My husband and I currently live in Portland.
How I thrive
While in Michigan, I developed a greater appreciation for the outdoors and began to take an interest in hiking and biking. Though I am still a novice, I strive to improve. My husband and I enjoy traveling and have been able to visit various cities here in the United States, and also Ireland, Spain, and Lebanon. We look forward to exploring new areas.
