I am originally from Seattle. I did my internal medicine residency at Oregon Health & Sciences University, and my primary specialty is internal medicine. I enjoy the interaction with people and figuring out the best way to move forward for their health, utilizing their priorities and communication style. I have a master’s degree in public health and also enjoy the practice of occupational medicine. Being able to combine these two as an urgency care physician at Kaiser Permanente, in six different locations, makes for a very enjoyable variety of issues to address. I like to support our "backbone" of primary care providers.
About my practice
I work exclusively in the Urgent Care Department. I provide care for adults (over 18) and the occupationally injured as well.
How I thrive
I work out every day and eat well. I know that how I live my life impacts my health and how I care for others. My favorite thing to do is waterski on the Willamette River. I enjoy the gym, snow skiing, hiking, and biking, and am a terrible golfer and tennis player.
