I grew up in Huntington Beach, California. We spent lots of time swimming and surfing, and my siblings and I all eventually became ocean lifeguards. Lifeguarding played an important role in my decision to pursue medicine as a career. I learned early on how rewarding it was to help people in times of real need.
About my practice
My practice as a Radiologist is tremendously fulfilling; working closely with patients and their families, as well as the greater healthcare team. My sub-specialty is pediatric radiology, in which I provide expert diagnostic imaging, and image-guided treatments, tailored to the needs of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. Additionally, I have training and expertise in advanced fetal imaging.
How I thrive
Outside of work, my greatest pleasure is spending active time with my family. Whether that's playing outside at the park, taking a hike, surfing, or skiing, outdoor play and family time help me thrive. We have a young son, so we're not trekking the Andes lately, but even small adventures, like picking berries or swimming in a lake, are great fun for us. I'm also a hobby photographer, which provides me with pleasure and a sense of artistic expression.
