Originally from Copenhagen, Denmark, I moved to the Pacific Northwest after practicing for many years in Europe to be close to my grandchildren and to live the American dream. I attended medical school at the University of Aarhus in Denmark, completed a residency in anesthesiology at the University of Wisconsin and a fellowship in cardiovascular anesthesiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. I am board certified in anesthesiology and perioperative transesophageal echocardiography.
About my practice
I am a member of a highly specialized group of professionals who perform open heart surgery. I am passionate about delivering the best anesthetic care using state-of-the-art tools, including transesophageal echocardiography. I enjoy teaching future specialists in delivering cardiac anesthesia care in a safe and professional environment.
How I thrive
In my free time, I enjoy my children and their families. I have a passion for riding motorcycles to explore the beautiful area we live in. Sometimes I extend these trips to other parts of the world, where much can be learned. Good conversations are always a priority for me.
