Originally from the Moldavian countryside of Romania, I followed my dream after medical school to continue my studies in America. I completed my anesthesiology residency at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey and worked in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, before moving to Spokane, Washington. After seven years in private practice there, I moved to Portland. I am happy to have discovered the Oregon Coast with its lighthouses, and the concert halls and theaters of Portland. I love our Northwest quality of life and working to share that with our members.
About my practice
The member is the focal point of my practice. As a general anesthesiologist, I am a hands-on care provider for all types of surgeries and medical procedures. Much of my work involves outpatient surgery cases. With my significant previous experience in pediatric anesthesia, I look forward to providing more care for children, giving them the individual attention they need.
How I thrive
I am active both physically and mentally. Hiking in the Columbia Gorge and the Coast Range, biking, running, and swimming are part of my weekly routine. Completing an MBA focused on health care will open new avenues in my quest to serve our members in fresh ways.
