I was raised in Portland, Oregon, and my entire extended family still lives here. I spent the first few years of my professional life as medical school faculty in Texas, where I completed a training fellowship in Patient Safety and Quality. In addition to providing the best possible medical care, I am committed to improving the practice of medicine through education of trainees and colleagues.
About my practice
My approach to patient care is collaborative. I place a priority on communication and comprehension. I want my patients to be well-informed and involved in their own care at every step of the process.
How I thrive
I am overjoyed to live in the Pacific Northwest with my wife and son. We take advantage of being outdoors as often as possible, and have so many bicycles in the garage we barely have room for a car. If I had to name a true source of energy, it's coffee! Portland is a fantastic place for sampling different cafes, styles, and roasters.
