About Reviews

No comments available. ?

I was raised in Southern California and have lived in Texas and New England, most recently Boston, and am happy to be in the Pacific Northwest. After finishing my psychiatry residency, I completed fellowships in consultation-liaison psychiatry and neuropsychiatry/behavioral neurology, and have since enjoyed working in inpatient and outpatient settings. My decision to pursue a career in psychiatry is consistently validated by the challenges and rewards obtained from working with patients with diverse presentations, experiences, and backgrounds.

About my practice

I am happy to be part of a family of talented clinicians who are dedicated to working together to improve the lives of our patients. I am interested in utilizing multidimensional approaches to diagnosing and treating patients, grounded in neurobiological, psychological, and social factors that are unique to each person. I have an interest in working with medically ill patients in a consulting role, along with colleagues from other medical disciplines. I am also interested in brain-based mechanisms underlying complex cognitive, affective, behavioral, motor, and social challenges that our patients face.

How I thrive

I consider myself a "permanent student" and active learner and enjoy reading and learning about a variety of work- and non-work-related disciplines, including history. I enjoy exercising regularly, photography, spending time with friends and family, and especially spending time with my dog.
