First of all, I go by TJ. I grew up in the Midwest near the shore of Lake Michigan. My wife and I met during our pediatrics training at Oregon Health & Science University. We both love helping others and especially value children, as we believe they are our future and the best hope for a healthier tomorrow.
About my practice
I am truly a pediatrician at heart. I love children and enjoy having an impact on their lives. I work exclusively in the hospital setting, caring for a wide range of pediatric members, from the healthiest newborns to the sickest teenagers. It brings me great joy and satisfaction to help members and their families through incredibly challenging times.
How I thrive
Family is very important in my life, and I am grateful for them. Outside of work, my wife and I enjoy being outdoors, watching movies, and most of all spending time with our own children. They have begun to take up activities that I also enjoy, including ice hockey, baseball, soccer, swimming, hiking, and camping. It is a true blessing to watch them grow up, and I appreciate being able relate to our members' joys (and sometimes demands) of having children.
