I was born in Seoul, South Korea and raised in Southern California. After a brief stint in the corporate world, I started a second career in medicine because I wanted a job that would stay interesting forever. I now live in Portland with my husband and two sons.
About my practice
I am one of the internal medicine primary care providers at the Kaiser Permanente Division Clinic. I think of myself as an educator more than anything else. My role is to give patients the information they need to make the best health decisions on their own behalf.
How I thrive
I thrive by working with my hands. Whether it's building a rocket ship with my kids or making hand-dipped truffles, creating something can be a powerful and fulfilling experience. In my free time, I love hiking and cooking with my two boys; pies are my specialty.
