I grew up in Canada but have lived in the United States for more than 20 years. After training in Chicago, Illinois, my wife and I moved to Portland, Oregon 12 years ago because we wanted a good place to raise a family. We love Portland for its proximity to the great outdoors and its friendly west coast vibe.
About my practice
As an anesthesiologist, I perform the majority of my work in the operating room, but my passion remains obstetric anesthesia. I am fellowship trained in this area and have spent a lot of time in labor and delivery suites. I enjoy this area of my specialty because it gives me the opportunity to provide pain relief and comfort to patients who are having a difficult time during labor.
How I thrive
Spending time with my family is important to me. We like to hike, ski, bike, and play cards and board games. There is nothing better than running or biking with my kids. These activities support our physical fitness and help us to bond as a family.
